About File Import Reports

File Import reports will allow you to keep track of the files you've uploaded into APSIS One. Did something not go as planned in a previous file import? Manage the successful and unsuccessful imports and improve your imports over time.

Accessing File Import Reports

How to Access the File Import Reports

1. Make sure you're in the Audience pillar in APSIS One.

2. Double-check you're in the right Section, otherwise select a S

Section from the drop-down menu on the right.

3. Click on the Profiles tab and, on the drop-down, select the Import History tab.

4. A list will be displayed. Double click the file you'd like to see the report for.

You may also click on the activity, and then Report in the Bottom Bar.

5. There it is! Toggle between successful, unsuccessful and updated in the left navigation to learn more.

Exporting File Import Report Data

How to Export File Import Report Data

1. Once you're in the reports page, double click the file you'd like to see the report for.

You may also click on the activity, and then Report in the Bottom Bar.

2. Toggle between the different tabs on the left side navigation to see specific details.

3. Click Export on the top right side of each Section.

You will only export the data of that particular Section. To export data from successful, unsuccessful and updated profiles, repeat this process with each Section of the report.

4. The file will download directly. Check your Downloads folder in your device or equivalent. In a Chrome browser, it will appear roughly like this in the bottom left of the screen:

 

 


 

File Import Report Data 

Below you'll find a quick summary of the kind of data that will be available in your file import reports. Click on an item to expand:

Overview

Import Overview

Here's the basic information about your file import.

Details

Import Type: This is the type of import you made. It will be either an Add and Update or an Unsubscribe import. 

Consent list: The Consent list you imported or unsubscribed profiles from.

Topic: Here you'll see the Topic of the Consent list you imported or unsubscribed profiles from.

Upload date and time: When did you upload your import file? Here's the date and time.

File: The name of your import file.

Channel: Whether you imported or unsubscribed profiles from Email or SMS communications.

Tag: If you tagged the profiles associated with your import, the tag will appear here.

 

Summary

A brief graphic summary of the results of your import. Additional to the total amount of profiles existent in your file, you'll see how many profiles were successfully and unsuccessfully imported, and how many existing profiles were updated.

New

New Imports

The first 10 successfully imported profiles from your file will appear under Successful.

You will see them organised in columns, showing the default attributes added into the profiles.

Failed

Failed Imports

The first 10 unsuccessfully imported profiles from your file will appear under Unsuccessful.

Profiles will not be successfully imported into APSIS One if they contain an invalid field, like an invalid phone number or email address for example.

You will see them organised in columns, showing the default attributes that couldn't be added into the profiles in the colour red.

Updated

Import Updates

The first 10 successfully updated profiles from your file will appear under Updated.

Not Changed

Profiles Not Changed

The first 10 profiles that were not updated or changed in any way will appear under Not Changed.
